Chief of Staff
Ron is Congressman Ryan's chief policy advisor. He directs and manages the D.C. and district offices.
Erin is the office manager and scheduler and ensures that office policies and procedures are followed. As the scheduler she maintains the Member's official schedule, travel plans, and related records and acts as a liaison for the Member with the staff, public and other Members.
Ryan is the primary legislative advisor for the Congressman. In addition to staffing the House Appropriations Committee – Defense Subcommittee, Ryan establishes the Congressman's legislative agenda, directs legislative staff, serves as a resource for legislative assistants, and acts as the primary staffer for issues related to defense/military issues.
Robert advises Congressman Ryan on legal and policy concerns related to judiciary issues, domestic and international commerce, foreign policy, the federal budget, financial services, taxation, criminal justice, and civil rights. Robert also manages Congressional testimony as it pertains to international trade matters.
Michael is the primary staffer and advises Congressman Ryan on issues related to energy, environment, transportation, housing, agriculture, homeland security, immigration, telecommunications, campaign and election law, and government oversight.
Anne is the primary staffer and advises Congressman Ryan on issues related to education, health care, labor, and social security. Anne also manages the Congressman's work as Co-Chair of the Addiction, Treatment, and Recovery Caucus.
Press Assistant/ New Media coordinator
Michael assists with press activities, including the writing and dissemination of press releases. He manages the official website and email program, and coordinates the Congressman's Facebook and Twitter presence. He also handles postal issues.
Scott advises Congressman Ryan on defense and military issues, and staffs the Congressman for the House Armed Services Committee. Scott's portfolio also includes manufacturing and related issues. Additionally, Scott specializes in issues dealing with mindfulness, traumatic brain injury, and post-traumatic stress disorder.
District Office Staff
District Director - Warren office
Rick oversees all District office operations including monitoring personnel matters and ensuring that office policies and procedures are followed. He occasionally represents the Congressman, or assigns appropriate staff to do so, in District. He also travels throughout the District at regular intervals to keep abreast of local concerns and reports back to the Chief of Staff and Congressman.
Office Manager & District Scheduler - Warren office
Debbie manages the essential daily operations of the local Warren office. She designs and prepares proclamations, certificates, and other official documents and procures and maintains supply levels and equipment. She regularly briefs the Congressman on all scheduling activities in the District and makes recommendations on proposed future meetings.
Constituent Liaison - Warren office
Mark is part of the Congressman's team that acts as the constituent service center for casework correspondence and local issues. He handles aging and seniors issues, utilities assistance and veterans outreach. He regularly provides updates to the District Director and the Congressman.
Constituent Liaison - Warren office
Gene is part of the Congressman's team that acts as the constituent service center for casework correspondence and local issues. He specializes in workplace labor issues, retirement plans, pensions, social security and disability benefits. He regularly provides updates to the District Director and the Congressman.
Communications Director -- Youngstown office
Pat manages and coordinates all communication activities, including media contacts, for the Congressman and the office. In addition to speechwriting he acts as the formal spokesperson and media liaison for the Congressman. He also heads up special projects which include town hall meetings, informational seminars and various outreach activities.
Economic Development Coordinator - Youngstown office
Chris is responsible for all economic development activity in the district and manages the appropriations process. He frequently interfaces with local economic development groups, chambers of commerce and universities to discuss special projects and/or grant procurement opportunities.
Community Development Coordinator - Youngstown office
Pearlette is part of the Congressman's constituent team and coordinates the federal grant process in the district. She helps small faith-based, non-profits and community-based organizations learn about the grants process. At the same time she manages the essential daily operations of the local Youngstown office and assists with general casework.
Constituent Liaison - Youngstown office
Matt is part of the Congressman's team that acts as the constituent service center for casework correspondence and local issues. His concentration is in Military and Veterans affairs, helps administer the Congressional Nomination Selection Process and assists with general casework. He regularly provides updates to the District Director and the Congressman.
