Washington, DC — Congressman Tim Ryan (OH-13) is announcing $197,912 in U.S. Department of Health and Human Services grants being awarded to the Alliance Family Health Center to expand capacity for coronavirus testing.
“As we see the number of COVID-19 cases rising in Ohio and across the nation, testing is one of the significant keys to stopping the spread and end this pandemic,” said Congressman Tim Ryan. “I’m proud of the work that is done by the Alliance Family Health Center to provide this needed service to the communities in and around Alliance.”
This funding is part of an award of more than $17 million for 78 Health Center Programs across the United States from the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to fund capacity expansion for COVID-19 testing.
