Congressman Tim Ryan Announces More Than $3 Million for Trumbull Head Start
Warren, OH – Congressman Tim Ryan (OH-13) today announces $3,131,095 in U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) funding for Head Start programming at the Trumbull Community Action Program in Warren, OH.
“Every child deserves the opportunity to thrive, which is why I’m proud to fight every day on behalf of the families here in Trumbull County,” said Congressman Tim Ryan. “All around the country Head Start has a proven track record of success. I am confident this funding will make a difference in the lives of countless children in our community.”
Head Start programs prepare America’s most vulnerable young children to succeed in school and beyond. Head Start programs deliver services to families and children from birth to five years of age during core areas of early learning, health, and family well-being. The Head Start program serves about 1 million children and pregnant women in urban, suburban, and rural communities throughout America.
These funds are budgeted to support the program through October 31, 2021 and the grant project runs until October 31, 2023.
