Youngstown, Ohio – Congressman Tim Ryan (OH-13) held a call today with Colonel Andrew Campbell, Base Commander at Yokota Air Base in Japan, on the ongoing investigation into Trevor Balint’s disappearance. Trevor Balint is from Hubbard, Ohio and his wife, Britni Balint, is from Brookfield, Ohio. Balint was reported missing on Monday, February 1st. Congressman Ryan had a productive conversation with Colonel Campbell today in which he received an update on the investigation in Japan.

“Trevor's disappearance is deeply disturbing. I will do everything in my power to help expedite this investigation and hopefully bring a positive resolution to this difficult situation. Colonel Campbell assured me that the United States military and Japanese authorities are doing everything in their power to find answers and bring an end to this nightmare for the Balint family. I stressed to Colonel Campbell the need for him to keep Mrs. Balint updated at all times and he confirmed that both he and his staff are in constant and regular communication with her. I will continue to closely monitor this situation and remain in close contact with military leadership at Yakota Air Base and the Balint family," said Congressman Tim Ryan.
