(Washington, DC) – Congressman Tim Ryan (OH-17) made the following statement upon passage of H.R. 4872, the Health Care and Education Affordability Reconciliation Act of 2010:
Washington, DC – March 18, 2010. According to the House Committee on Energy and Commerce, the current health reform bill will make health care affordable for the middle class, provide security for seniors, and guarantee access to health insurance for the uninsured – while reducing the federal deficit by over $100 billion in the next decade.
