“Starting last week, millions of Americans started using Healthcare.gov to secure quality, affordable health insurance for themselves and their families. Last year, eight in ten individuals qualified for financial assistance to help reduce the cost of their premium – allowing most to only pay between $50 and $100 on their plan each month. In the wealthiest nation on earth, access to quality and affordable care is a right that every American should be afforded. This is an important open enrollment period. The Affordable Care Act is working, and I applaud all of the local government and nonprofit leaders here in Ohio and across the country who are stepping up to make sure their fellow citizens have the resources they need to make the right decision for themselves and their families,” said Congressman Ryan.
